This is a smaller wall hanging. This piece represents the 3rd and final in my metamorphosis triptych. This represents a butterfly. It can be interpreted as either struggling to emerge, in the process of freeing itself from its cocoon-or in a darker way-perhaps having not made it and we are witness to a broken wing and the aftermath of a failed cycle.
